Job summary

ChampionX in Evans, CO is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of multiplex pump skids and Jet Pump artificial lift systems at wellsites and in the shop.

The role requires hands-on experience with multiplex pumps, VSDs, and related components, plus strong customer communication. The position offers competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a field service mechanic troubleshooting and repairing multiplex pumps and jet pump artificial lift systems.
• Must have an acceptable driving record per company standards.
• 21 years of age to drive a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Executes the commissioning and decommissioning of multiplex pump skids and components at oil and gas wellsites for use on Jet Pump artificial lift, Salt Water Disposal (SWD) Systems, and other facilities.
• Perform repairs and troubleshoot multiplex pumps and its auxiliary components (electric motors and VSDs, safety switches, flow meters, valves, lubrication, sump pumps).
• Complete preventative maintenance on the above equipment at regular intervals.
• Timely and accurately write up service tickets for the customers to review and be invoiced.
• Develops good working relationships with customers through professional communication.
• Respond to customer calls and assist with technical questions.
• Contributes to the department's continuous improvement culture.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and service multiplex pumps (Triplex/Quintuplex) and Jet Pump systems.
• Maintain a clean and well-organized work area and company truck.
