Job summary

A Hiring Company in Wilsonville, Oregon is seeking a Service Technician to install, repair, troubleshoot, and retrofit customer equipment. You will work on-site or in the shop, coordinating with internal dispatchers to ensure a positive customer experience and timely service delivery.

Applicants should have strong mechanical repair skills, the ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Journeyman-level experience is highly preferred.
• Strong mechanical repair expertise with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics.
• Proficiency with technology and technical systems.
• Demonstrates a proactive approach to problem-solving and assigned tasks.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities while maintaining an organized and efficient workflow to ensure timely task completion.
• Ability and willingness to learn and retain product-specific information.
• Refuse equipment experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety is the top priority by adhering to all policies, processes, and safety protocols.
• Read and follow engineering, hydraulic, and electrical schematic drawings and technical specifications.
• Prepare new equipment for delivery to customers.
• Provide customer guidance for improvement and proper equipment operation.
• Assemble, test, and service systems and components.
• Travel to customer job sites as needed, up to 25% travel associated with this position.
• Manage workflow to ensure the company meets customer-required dates.
• Follow the process of paperwork requirements for billing, reports, and other documentation.
• Work in environmental conditions that may include periods of extreme heat and cold.
• Participate in required on-the-job, manufacturer, and professional training.
• Execute other duties as assigned.
