Job summary

Kinsley Power Systems is seeking Field Service Technicians to service standby generators across the Northeast. The role includes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and on-call support, with company-paid certifications and a path for advancement.

Qualifications

• Performing preventative maintenance and repairs on standby generator systems (8kW-1mW).
• Troubleshooting, diagnostic testing, load-bank testing and start-ups on generators.
• Preparing accurate quotes for repairs and completing/submitting work orders.
• Previous experience working on residential or industrial generators.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to participate in an on call, rotating schedule.
• Must provide your own tools (multimeter, hand-tools, etc.).
• OSHA 10 certification (or ability to attain one).
• Valid DOT Card (or ability to attain one) and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on standby generator systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose generator issues; conduct load-bank tests and start-ups.
• Prepare accurate repair quotes and submit/complete work orders.
• Apply prior generator experience in residential or industrial settings.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
