Qualifications

• Experience with standby generator systems (8kW–1MW) or similar engines.
• Experience with engines, electrical systems, or heavy equipment.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Able to participate in an on-call, rotating schedule.
• Must provide own tools (multimeter, hand-tools).
• OSHA 10 certification or ability to obtain one.
• Valid DOT Card and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on standby generator systems (8kW–1MW).
• Troubleshoot and test generators including load-bank tests and start-ups.
• Prepare accurate quotes and complete work orders.
• Work with residential or industrial generator units.
• Maintain safety standards and communicate with customers.
• Support on-call rotation as required.

Key Responsibilities and Preferred Experience:

• Performing preventative maintenance and repairs on standby generator systems (Ranging from 8kW-1mW)
• Troubleshooting, diagnostic testing, load-bank testing and start-ups on generators
• Preparing accurate quotes for repairs and completing/submitting work orders
• Previous experience working on residential or industrial generators
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills
• The ability to participate in an on call, rotating schedule
• Must provide your own tools (multi-meter, hand-tools, etc.)
• Very safety focused with an OSHA 10 (or the ability to attain one)
• Valid DOT Card (or the ability to attain one) and a valid driver's license
