Job summary

Airgas is seeking a Field Service Technician in Madison, WI to install and maintain nitrogen generation plants and bulk gas systems. The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or Equivalent, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain a Certified Brazing Certificate.

Candidates with HVAC or refrigeration certification and prior industrial field service experience in gas generation systems are preferred. Benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a Certified Brazing Certificate within 30 days.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Install and care for on-site nitrogen generation plants.
  • Collaborate on nitrogen generation equipment installations.
  • Restore and optimize pressure reduction equipment.
  • Evaluate electrical systems and improve them.
  • Perform periodic preventative maintenance on equipment.

Skills

Certified Brazing Certificate
Valid driver's license
HVAC or refrigeration certification
Industrial field service experience in gas generation
Knowledge of cryogenic gases
Troubleshooting ability
Welding and brazing knowledge
Ability to read blueprints
Basic Microsoft Office skills
