Job summary

LN Curtis & sons seeks a Service Technician to service emergency responder equipment across a regional territory in the United States. The role requires mechanical and electrical aptitude, a willingness to travel, and strong customer communication.

You will service breathing apparatus, hydraulic extrication equipment, and compressors while maintaining a professional appearance and building lasting customer relationships. Relocation near King County, WA is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical schematic diagrams.
  • Working knowledge of basic electrical theory.
  • Mechanically inclined and technically competent.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite; Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • Capable of safely lifting and operating equipment weighing 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide the highest levels of customer care to fire department customers.
  • Service and repair breathing apparatus and compressor systems.
  • Service and repair hydraulic extrication equipment.
  • Schedule appointments and review customer needs and opportunities for ongoing relationships.
  • Plan and conduct face-to-face product/service presentations.
  • Demonstrate and present company products and services to customers.
  • Exchange information with customers to meet their requirements.
  • Develop new opportunities for sales of products and services.
  • Stay up-to-date with new products, procedures and tools.
  • Travel away from home regularly and for extended periods.
  • Maintain a good driving record.
  • Perform general administrative duties and monthly expense/mileage reporting.
  • Other duties as assigned.
