Job summary

POWERX, a leader in power infrastructure services, is seeking a Field Service Technician (NETA 4) in the Raleigh area. You will perform complex electrical tests, manage projects from start to finish, and generate comprehensive reports while ensuring safety and compliance on energized and de-energized systems.

You will collaborate with engineers and managers, travel up to 50%, and mentor field technicians. A high level of hands-on expertise and strong communication skills are essential for

Qualifications

High school diploma/GED required; 4-year technical degree preferred.
10+ years of experience in field service or electrical testing environments.
OSHA 30-hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED training a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform complex electrical tests and measurements.
Lead and manage projects; supervise NETA field technicians.
Write and review detailed test reports; ensure timely submissions.
Ensure safety and compliance; troubleshoot electrical systems.
