Job summary

FWG Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform on-base field installation and operational support for LCAC/SSC systems in support of the Navy LCAC ACV program. This role requires an Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain interim clearance and involves 5 days on-site with possible additional hours and travel.

The successful candidate will bring 5–7 years of similar experience, AIT installation experience, and strong mechanical, electrical, and connector skills, along with

Qualifications

• High School Degree Required.
• Knowledge and training in mechanical, electrical, craft maintenance, Navy technical trainings, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform field installation, alternation, repair, troubleshooting, deficiency correction
• In charge of check-out and operational support for all LCAC/SSC systems
• Supports field installations, alterations and troubleshooting
• Operational verification with at ACU/NBU or other government sites
• Perform routine work with limited to no supervision or instruction
• Ability to take on new assignments with general instructions
• Apply industry knowledge to various programs and projects ensuring successful completion
• Use knowledge of industry standard policies, procedures and practical applications to complete job tasks
• Other duties as related to the business functions of FWG Solutions, as assigned
