Job summary

Lewis Systems & Service Co. Inc. is seeking a field service technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain compressed air and vacuum equipment on customer sites in Greensboro and surrounding areas. You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to emergencies, and troubleshoot controls while building strong client relationships.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, a valid driver’s license, reliable work ethic, and willingness to travel locally. Training and tools are provided by the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Mechanical aptitude is required.
• Previous work history with a service-based organization.
• Certifications such as Asse 6040 are preferred but not required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair compressed air and vacuum equipment on customer sites.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on systems.
• Respond to emergency service requests during and outside normal hours.
• Program, troubleshoot microprocessor and PLC-based equipment controls.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and document service reports.
