Job summary

Lewis Systems & Service is seeking a dedicated Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain compressed air and vacuum equipment at client sites. This role involves on-site service, on-demand maintenance, and building strong customer relationships.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and mechanical aptitude. Local travel within Greensboro, NC area is required; a valid driver's license is essential. Company truck support provided for service calls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and prior service experience.
• Experience with service-based organizations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily equipment checks and diagnose problems in compressed air and vacuum systems.
• Conduct annual and semi-annual maintenance and testing on systems.
• Respond to emergency calls and travel locally as needed.
• Program and troubleshoot microprocessor and PLC-based controls.
• Build and maintain client relationships and serve as a technical resource.
• Complete daily reports and maintenance checklists for customers and admin.
