Job summary

SAM Service, Inc. is hiring a Service Technician in Albany, GA. This in‑person role offers a company vehicle and Port‑to‑Port Pay, focusing on commercial kitchen, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and communicate with customers, while the office handles quotes and billing. Benefits include health and retirement, tuition reimbursement, relocation assistance, and CFESA certification training.

Qualifications

• Experience in equipment maintenance or repair.
• Refrigeration/HVAC experience and EPA certification (preferred, not required).
• Strong technical and electrical skills; able to read wiring diagrams and manuals.
• Comfortable using tablets, smartphones, and other tech tools.
• Willingness to work overtime and participate in a rotating on‑call schedule.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must pass a pre‑employment drug screening and participate in random testing.
• Curious mind and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Start your day from home in a fully equipped company vehicle.
• Get paid from the moment you start your engine (Port-to-Port Pay!).
• Use a company‑provided iPad to manage work orders and documentation.
• Troubleshoot and repair commercial kitchen, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment.
• Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, and manufacturer support.
