Qualifications

  • Two to five years of field service, industrial maintenance, equipment installation, or related technical experience.
  • Advanced ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
  • Strong working knowledge of high- and low-voltage electrical systems
  • Advanced proficiency using a multimeter
  • Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, servo drives, and motion-control systems
  • Ability to read pneumatic schematics
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and advanced troubleshooting skills
  • Proficiency with common hand and power tools
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to maintain accurate digital service records
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer-service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel overnight 50%-75% of the time

Responsibilities

  • Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair complex electromechanical equipment at customer sites.
  • Read electrical schematics for high- and low-voltage systems.
  • Troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems including HMIs and sensors.
  • Diagnose servo drives, motors, and motion-control systems.
  • Document service calls and maintain digital customer records.
  • Travel overnight 50–75% of the time.
