Qualifications

  • Associate Degree with 2 years of professional work experience or High School Diploma/GED with 5 years of professional work experience.
  • Broad knowledge of transformer field service operations and transformer field testing.
  • Familiarity with transformer installation and assembly, vacuum and oil processing, and internal transformer components.

Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site and remote service activities including installation, commissioning, maintenance, repairs, upgrades, retrofits, and replacements.
  • Read and follow electrical and mechanical drawings, instructions, and technical manuals.
  • Coordinate logistics for service jobs, including tools, resources, and spare parts.
  • Repair, re-gasket, assemble, and disassemble transformer equipment as directed.
  • Operate and maintain vacuum oil processing and oil handling equipment with required logs.
