Job summary

Service Compression, LLC seeks a Field Service Technician in Texas to troubleshoot and repair equipment including Caterpillar engines and Ariel and Gemini compressors on-site in the field.

You will work with natural gas compression systems, perform preventive maintenance, and document work while communicating clearly with customers and team members.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of gas engines and compressors, electrical systems, panel boards, skid wiring.
• Working knowledge of HSE procedures and regulations.
• General understanding of customers’ production equipment; Scrubbers, on/off skid.
• Understands all processes and systems on how a compressor package works.
• Knowledge of maintenance standards checklist and ability to accurately follow.

Job Summary:

The Field Service Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing multiple types of equipment including Caterpillar Engines as well as Ariel and Gemini Compressors. This role requires knowledge of natural gas compressors and contributes to the production of natural gas in the field.

Required Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3 years or more experience with natural gas engines and compressors.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

• Must be fit for duty for the job tasks being performed.
• Must meet the medical requirements necessary to wear PPE required.
• Constantly required to talk and hear.
• Frequently required to sit while driving or using PC.
• Occasionally required to climb in and around equipment, stairs and vertical ladders.
