Job summary

Culligan Quench in Illinois is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair water filtration equipment at customer sites. This customer-facing role requires a professional demeanor, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently while following safety policies.

The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $22.87–$23.00, Monday through Friday 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, OT potential, and benefits starting Day 1 including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k)

Qualifications

• Experience in repair and maintenance.
• Technical school degree preferred.
• General Computer Skills required.
• Microsoft Office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot products for required repairs.
• Routinely change water filters, clean and sanitize water tanks, change UV bulbs and clear waterlines.
• Visually inspect for leaks and malfunctions.
• Perform service agreement tasks and other job-related duties as assigned.
• Follow company and customer safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain and comply with company vehicle maintenance policy and procedures.
• Demonstrate strong technical and mechanical aptitude.
• Be familiar with basic tools and able to transport equipment and tools to customer sites.
• Electronically transfer customer and company information.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

Field Service Technician

Pay: $22.87 - $23.00 per hour (based on experience and location)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM (may vary by market)

Mechanical aptitude: Experience working with tools or repairing equipment.

Driving experience: Comfortable operating a vehicle for work purposes and familiar with routes/GPS (experience may be in a company or personal vehicle).

Professional, service-minded demeanor: Good customer service and communication skills.

Valid, active driver’s license.

At least 21 years of age (required to operate company vehicles).

Position Overview

The Field Service Technician installs, maintains, and repairs company equipment, including filtered water systems, ice machines, sparkling water dispensers, and coffee brewers. • Visually inspect for leaks and malfunctions
• Perform service agreement tasks and other job-related duties asassigned
• Responsible for following company and customer safety policies andprocedures
• Maintain and comply with company vehicle maintenance policy andprocedures
• Technician will have strong technical and mechanicalaptitude
• Technician will have familiarity with basic tools and maintain ability to transport both equipment and tools to customer sites
• Electronically transferring customer and company information
• Regular and reliable attendance

Requirements

• Experience in repair and maintenance
• Technical school degree preferred
• General Computer Skills required
• Microsoft Office experience preferred
• Must have good verbal and written skills
• Ability to learn the internal workings and repair approaches to repairing water coolers
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where quantity and quality go hand in hand
• A clean work record and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Physical requirements include ability to bend, squat, walk with heavy equipment, climb ladders, and lift 70+ pounds
• Valid driver’s licenseMust be at least 21 years old
