Job summary

Calgon Carbon, a Kuraray Company, seeks a Field Service Technician to perform on-site carbon exchange work with remote flexibility in the US, including Downingtown, PA or Pittsburgh, PA. Hourly work with potential overtime, strong benefits and ongoing training.

The role requires field service at customer sites, maintenance on equipment, and precise record-keeping for reports and time sheets. Some weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate required (pre-employment).
• Driver's License (Class A preferred).
• OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER required (within 3 months).
• TWIC required (within 3 months).
• 0–2 years hands-on/mechanical experience required.
• Automotive engine maintenance experience preferred.
• Industrial vacuum operation experience preferred.
• Work at industrial facility experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform carbon exchanges at customer sites.
• Perform minor maintenance on Calgon Carbon equipment.
• Record and submit project reports, expense reports and time sheets.

Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to)

• Performing carbon exchanges at customer sites

• Record keeping - Accurately complete project reports, expense reports and time sheets

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required
• DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (Candidate must successfully obtain during the pre-employment physical) is required
• Driver's License (Class A preferrable) is required
• OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER (Candidate must be successfully completed within 3-months of hire date) is required
• TWIC - Transportation Work Identification Credential (Candidate must successfully obtain within 3-months of hire date) is required
• 0-2 years experience in a mechanical or hands-on industry is required
• Automotive engine maintenance and repair is preferred
• Industrial Vacuum Operation is preferred
• Work at Industrial Facility is preferred
