Job summary

Hy-Tek Intralogistics is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide maintenance service on lift trucks and other material handling equipment. The role covers on-site work at customer locations with a focus on preventive maintenance and timely repairs.

Working in a warehouse setting, you will lift up to 75 pounds, travel to customer sites, and collaborate with the Service Manager to ensure high uptime and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience as a service technician or similar.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; tech education preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work without direct supervision; strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Job Purpose

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for changing oil and performing routine preventative maintenance on all Industrial Equipment.
• Assess and repair damage and mechanical related issues on lift trucks.
• Provide lift truck maintenance services onsite at customer locations.
• Communicate professionally while onsite with the customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred

• 1+ years’ experience as a service technician, mechanic or similar position is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required. Technical education in automotive, heavy equipment mechanic, or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Ability to work without direct supervision.
• Ability to prioritize tasks with great attention to detail.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Working Conditions

• Must be able to lift at least 75 pounds.
• Must be able to bend, squat, and kneel to work on Industrial Equipment.
• This position spends most of the day in a warehouse setting.
• Some travel to customer locations is required, so outside work may be mandatory.

Compensation

• The expected starting hourly range for this role is $23 - $35 per hour. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, performance and business needs.
