Job summary

ATS Automation Tooling Systems Inc. seeks a Field Service Technician to support North American customers on Comecer equipment, focusing on mechanical and electrical service, maintenance, and upgrades.

Responsibilities include remote support, on-site service, and coordination with the Service Planner. Strong diagnostic and communication skills, and willingness to travel domestically/internationally within 30 days of hire are required.

Qualifications

• Five-year industrial diploma with mechanical/electrical emphasis or equivalent.
• Ability to analyze, debug, and adjust Comecer equipment and systems.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical faults on industrial equipment.
• Excellent understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and mechanical components.
• Experience with troubleshooting automation systems.
• Able to work in a multi-disciplined environment and handle customer interactions.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally within 30 days of hire.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Comecer equipment at customer sites in the United States and Canada.
• Provide remote technical support by telephone and online (Help Desk level 1 & 2).
• Use FUSION software to create and track service tickets.
• Execute service at customer sites per the Service Planner; create work reports and notes.
• Diagnose and address equipment problems; explain findings clearly to customers.
• Support customers with mechanical and electrical issues on Comecer systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance activities on equipment.

OVERVIEW:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

FieldService:

• Troubleshoot, repair, andmaintainthe industrial equipment manufactured by theComecerGroup at customer sites in the United States and Canada.
• Provideremotetechnical support by telephone and online (Help Desk level 1 & 2) forcustomers
• Utilize internal FUSION software to create and track machine issues using service tickets.
• Execute serviceat customer sitesbased on instructions received by the ServicePlanner. Create work reportsandother service documentation and update internal records using FUSION.
• Diagnose and address equipment problemsin a timely manner. Clearlyexplainto the customer’s satisfaction the diagnosis and repair of the machine. Address difficult customer situations in a professional manner.
• Serve as a support engineer to customers formechanical and electricalissues provided withComecerequipment and systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance activities including filter replacement,calibrations, leak test, etc. onComecerequipment and systems.

Commercial:

• Ship and receive customer orders, stock shipments, and installation equipment.
• Order and track spare parts and consumables inventory. Proactively adjust stock to effectively handle future customer needs and ensure availability of critical stock.
• Organize the archive of user manuals, recommended spare parts lists, and technical documentation related to the equipment installed in the United States and Canada.
• Seek out andassistinnegotiatingmaintenance packages including service contracts and spare parts sets.
• Establish andmaintainpositive working relationships with colleagues, vendors, and customers. Seek opportunities to expand network and promoteComecerand ATS brands.
• Continuallyseektechnical and product training.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least a five-year Industrial Technical diploma with Mechanical / Electrical emphasis or equivalent work experience.
