Job summary

Airgas is hiring a Field Service Technician in Tampa, FL to install, service, and maintain cryogenic bulk delivery systems at customer sites and Airgas facilities. You will handle pumps, piping, wiring, and compressors, ensuring safety and compliance with NFPA codes and Airgas protocols.

The role requires local travel within 2 hours of home, overtime availability, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Demonstrated understanding of NFPA 99 and NFPA 50 is a plus.
• Two years of industrial field service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and service cryogenic bulk installations at Airgas facilities and customer sites.
• Refurbish and maintain pressure reduction equipment linked to bulk delivery systems.
• Analyze and repair electrical systems on cryogenic installations.
• Determine vaporizer sizes for applications and ensure proper equipment IDs.
• Coordinate piping installations and conduct site surveys with permits as needed.
