Eastern Lift Truck Co. is seeking a Field Service Technician to support our Montville, NJ location and surrounding areas.

You will diagnose, repair, inspect and maintain forklifts, pallet trucks, boom lifts and scissor lifts with courteous, professional service. Requirements include prior experience repairing forklifts or heavy equipment; knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems; welding/fabricating skills; a clean driving record; and a stable, self-motivated work history.

Field Service Technician

Main Duties:

• Diagnose, repair, inspect, and maintain equipment including Forklifts, Pallet Trucks, Boom Lifts, and Scissor Lifts
• Provide courteous and professional service
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with Company and OSHA Standards

Requirements:

• Prior experience repairing forklifts and/or heavy equipment
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Experience as a road mechanic a plus
• Welding / fabricating experience
• Exceptional customer service skill
• Clean driving record
• Stable work history
• Dependable, self-motivated professional

Compensation:
