Ecolab is seeking a Field Technician to join our Marshall, Michigan team. You will monitor and maintain air and water quality systems at an automotive manufacturing site, providing problem-solving support to customers in an autonomous, hands-on role.

You will be joining a talented team that monitors and maintains a variety of air and water quality systems pertaining to the paint booth at an automotive manufacturingsite. In this position you will provide customers with problem solving support, generating a high level of customer satisfaction.

How You'll Make an Impact:

• Operate, monitor, and trouble-shoot the facility and its processes in accordance with established procedures
• Perform testing on lab samples, analyze and record results and data in accordance with company and regulatory requirements
• Perform daily process application quality analysis using small intricate parts
• Provide routine and special application service support to customers
• Execute required chemistry tests
• Log and report data
• Provide technical support to customers
• Troubleshoot and maintain systems as needed
• Use a fluke meter to check sensitivity
• Operate a test stand verifying air and fluid leaks

Shift: 7am-3pm (Must be flexible for weekend shifts as needed)

Compensation: $26/hr

Minimum Qualifications:

High School D iploma , GED or equivalent

Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working independently in an industrial setting

Demonstrate mechanical aptitude

Previous e xperience in Industrial Wastewater Treatment or Maintenance

Mechanical problem-solving experience ( e.g. plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and/or mechanical experience)

Strong customer service skills; proven ability to interface positively and professionally with the customer

Analyze readings and put data in a spreadsheet in a logical manner

V erbal and written communication skills

Previous experience explaining results of data gatherings

Physical Requirements of Position :

Lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 pounds chest high

We ar ing and using a respirator under certain conditions

Working in a variety of conditions including confined spaces, damp/dusty areas, and extreme temperatures

S tooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, balancing, walking, standing, climbing

W orking indoors and outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The pay range for this position is $44,200-$66,200. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
