Job summary

LGG Industrial in Macon, GA is seeking an entry-level Conveyor Belting Technician who is mechanically inclined. You will splice and install conveyor belts and components to meet customer and industry requirements, and perform other field service and warehouse tasks as trained.

This role requires safety commitment, ability to travel, and some overtime. You will work with Field Service Supervisors, use hand tools and tape measures, and participate in OSHA 10 and MSHA training.

Qualifications

  • 21+ years old
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to safely drive a company truck
  • Willingness to travel for out-of-town jobs
  • Overtime, nights and weekends as required
  • Basic math skills and measurement (tape measure)
  • Background checks, drug screening, and a DOT physical may be required
  • DOT medical card or ability to obtain one
  • OSHA 10 and MSHA certifications
  • First aid and CPR certifications
