Job summary

JL Schwieters in Minnesota is hiring a Field Service Technician to support our framing projects across residential and commercial sites. The role combines hands-on framing with field service duties, reporting to the Field Service Manager, and collaborating with coworkers, customers, and field support teams.

Candidates should have framing and service experience (1+ year), with pref on those familiar with prefab components.

• 1+ years framing and service experience required.
• Preference for candidates with prefab components experience.

Responsibilities

• Resolve framing issues at jobsites and perform punch items.
• Install finish components (garage stairs, porch posts/columns, decks, railings).
• Work with coworkers, customers, and field support teams; follow directions.

JL Schwieters is hiring a Field Service Technician. We are a family owned, Framing/Construction Industry leader for 40+ years.We have jobsites across the metro, framing both residential and commercial properties.We are currently looking to hire for our service department.

What we are looking for : We need candidates who have framing experience and service experience – one or more years.A framer/service associate that has built using prefabbed components would be a plus but not necessary. This person reports to our Field Service Manager and will work closely with coworkers, customers and field support teams to resolve framing issues.Job also entails framing punch items and installing finish components (garage stairs, front porch post/columns, decks, railings, etc.).Strong attention to detail a must.

• Highly Motivated
• Thrives in Production Environments
• Valid Driver License/Good MVR (Motor Vehicle Record)
• Able to operate all construction power/hand tools
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs
• Able to work independently and solve problems on the spot
• Able to follow directions
