Job summary

Ecolab in Houston is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our Institutional team. In this field-based role, you will deliver high-quality service, installations, maintenance, and issue resolution while supporting customers across Institutional segments.

You will travel throughout the Houston market, work a Wednesday–Saturday schedule, and receive training with a company vehicle and comprehensive benefits designed to support your safety and growth in a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of service-related experience (maintenance, troubleshooting, installation).
• Current and valid Driver's License with no restrictions.
• No Immigration Sponsorship available for this position.
• Availability to work overnight shifts and provide emergency call assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide service-intensive support to customers across the market and align with centralized accounts.
• Install, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on warewashing, laundry, dispensing equipment and related systems.
• Complete emergency service requests, equipment changeouts, and other planned or unplanned work orders.
• Evaluate account conditions during visits and help ensure Ecolab Brand Standards are met.
• Manage equipment, parts, and inventory to keep a fully stocked vehicle and support first-time fixes.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation for all work performed.

Ecolab is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our team in the Houston market. In this field-based service role, you will deliver consistent, high-quality customer program execution through reliable service, installations, maintenance, and issue resolution. You will support customers across Institutional business segments, help ensure Ecolab Brand Standards are met, and partner with sales and service teams to deliver an enhanced customer experience and measurable customer outcomes.

How You'll Make an Impact:

• Provide service-intensive support to customers across the market, including aligned and centralized customers

• Install, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on warewashing, laundry, dispensing equipment, and related systems

• Complete emergency service requests, equipment changeouts, and other planned and unplanned work orders reliably and efficiently

• Evaluate account conditions during each visit and proactively take action to help ensure customers meet Ecolab Brand Standards

• Manage equipment, parts, and inventory to maintain a fully stocked vehicle, maximize effectiveness, and support first-time fix performance

• Complete accurate and timely documentation for all work performed

• Communicate Ecolab's total value to customers and strengthen customer relationships

• Partner with sales, distribution, and service teams to improve responsiveness, reduce friction, and deliver a consistent customer experience

Position Details:

• This is a field-based position and may require travel to the following locations and surrounding areas: Houston, TX

Work Schedule: Wednesday - Saturday, 10:00 am - 9:00 pm + OT as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• 2 years of service-related experience, such as maintaining, troubleshooting, and installing equipment

• Position requires a current and valid Driver's License with no restrictions

• Availability to work overnight shifts and provide emergency call assistance which may occur at night, on weekends and over holidays

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range:

The total compensation range for this position is $58,700 - $88,100, which includes base pay and target incentive based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
