Job summary

Crown Equipment Corporation is seeking knowledgeable customer-focused auto, diesel, aircraft, or forklift technicians to join the Crown team. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair lift trucks, perform scheduled maintenance, and maintain your service van with inventory.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Less than 2 years related experience
• Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum Qualifications: Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks
• Preferred Qualifications: Mechanical and electrical aptitudes; knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and IM engines
• Preferred Qualifications: Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills
• Preferred Qualifications: Technical degree, prior lift truck repair, welding experience, and knowledge of testing equipment
• Preferred Qualifications: Familiar with tools such as hand tools, electrical/air tools, torch, arc welder, and testing equipment
• Preferred Qualifications: Industry-related training is preferred
• Preferred Qualifications: Ability to read and understand service manuals, plan, and follow-through

Responsibilities

Job Duties

Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and internal combustion engines, and the ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.


• Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills.


• Technical degree, previous lift truck repair, welding experience, and knowledge of various types of testing equipment preferred.


• Familiar with tools and equipment such as common hand tools, electrical/air tools, torch, arc welder and various types of testing equipment.


• Industry related training is preferred


• Ability to read and understand service manuals, plan, and follow-through
