Job summary

HFO Trident Southeast is seeking a CNC Field Service Technician for the Mississippi territory. The role involves installing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining Haas and other machine tool equipment at customer sites.

You will research issues from manuals and vendor resources, document outcomes for clients and the office, and promote preventative maintenance while providing after-sales technical support and training. Travel will be frequent across the regional territory.

Qualifications

  • Self-motivated with willingness to learn complex tasks on the job.
  • Experience repairing diesel engines, generators, industrial machinery, HVAC, EDM/Laser/Waterjet/CNC tools; Haas repair background a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics.
  • Excellent customer service, technical, communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to customer sites to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain machine tool equipment and controls.
  • Research machine issues using manuals and vendor resources.
  • Document status of issues, repairs and installations for customers and office.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and provide after-sales technical support and training.

HFO Trident is seeking a team oriented and ambitious CNC Field Service Technician for our Mississippi territory.

What You Will Contribute:

The CNC Field Service Technician will have an extensive understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics to effectively detect and resolve issues with electrical and mechanical components. Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Traveling to customer sites to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain all machine tool equipment and controls for customer organizations.

  • Use machine tool manuals, technical documents, internal and vendor resources to research machine issues.

  • Ensuring accurate documentation is completed and submitted to office and customer in regard to status of machine issues, repairs, and installation.

  • Promoting and performing preventative maintenance on customer machine tool equipment and conducting after-sales technical support and training.

  • Possessing and maintaining an in-depth knowledge of machine tool industry and product lines represented by the company.

Job Proficiencies & Qualifications:
  • Self motivated, positive attitude with a willingness to learn complex tasks through on the job training and with all supporting documents.

  • Experience in mechanical/electrical repair of diesel engines, generators, automotive, industrial machinery, HVAC, EDM/Laser/Waterjet/CNC machine tools; Haas CNC Repair background a plus.

  • Intermediate to sophisticated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics.

  • Excellent customer service, technical, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job.

  • Flexible hours and frequent travel, including driving throughout the Mississippi, Louisiana, Florida, and Caribbean regional territory.
