Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will execute service work according to work instructions and ABB quality and safety guidelines. You will deliver quality customer service, plan and execute service work based on customer orders and expectations, and communicate effectively to ensure customer retention. The work model is remote, contributing to the Electrification Smart Power division in the Western Region. Your main responsibilities include:

• Working with customers on-site to identify opportunities for operational improvements.
• Performing field service tasks, diagnosing technical issues, and conducting analysis remotely or on-site within your certified service categories.
• Preparing material lists and ensuring the availability and quality of materials, parts, and equipment needed for service activities.
• Training field service associates and customers when needed.

Qualifications for the role

• 2 years of technical/electrical school or relevant military/field service experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel.
• Experience with 3-phase (208/480VAC) power distribution equipment (UPS, PDU, STS, Panelboards, etc.) or similar/relevant military experience.
• Work authorization to work for ABB in the US.
