Continental Events in the United States (New York region, City of Rochester area) seeks a Field Service Technician to install, repair, and maintain vending, micro market, and office coffee equipment across multiple accounts.

You will transport equipment, perform field repairs, and coordinate with dispatchers and clients to ensure optimal operation and customer satisfaction. A High School Diploma or GED is required, with relevant repair experience and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience repairing vending, coffee, or small machines.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, HVAC, or electronics.
  • Valid, clean driverds license.
  • Ability to pass Department of Transportation (DOT) physical (MI, IN, PA, and NY only).

Responsibilities

  • Repair and install vending, office coffee, and micro market equipment to promote continuous operation.
  • Transport equipment and install replacement parts using a company vehicle at various accounts and locations throughout the region.
  • Troubleshoot and restore malfunctioning machines to working order in the field.
  • Swap failed equipment, clean, perform preventative maintenance, and make minor adjustments to malfunctioning components.
  • Communicate professionally with dispatchers and clients.
  • Respond promptly to customer needs and requests to ensure satisfaction.
  • Follow up on special requests and questions from customers.
  • Continuously seek to exceed customer expectations and anticipate their needs.

Field Service Technician

The Field Service Technician will be responsible for transport, installation, and maintenance of vending, micro market, and office coffee equipment in an organized and structured manner. The Technician handles in‑field rebuilding of vending, micro market, and office coffee equipment.

  • Repair and install vending, office coffee, and micro market equipment to promote continuous operation.
  • Transport equipment and install replacement parts using a company vehicle at various accounts and locations throughout the region.
  • Troubleshoot and restore malfunctioning machines to working order in the field.
  • Swap failed equipment, clean, perform preventative maintenance, and make minor adjustments to malfunctioning components.
  • Communicate professionally with dispatchers and clients.
  • Run electrical wire and plumbing tubes as needed.
  • Respond promptly to customer needs and requests to ensure satisfaction.
  • Support a service‑oriented environment that inspires others to improve their service actions.
  • Maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude with co‑workers and customers.
  • Follow up on special requests and questions from customers.
  • Continuously seek to exceed customer expectations and anticipate their needs.
  • Participate in additional projects and assignments as needed.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience repairing vending, coffee, or small machines.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, HVAC, or electronics.
  • Valid, clean driver’s license (Chauffeur’s License may be required – MI only).
  • Ability to pass Department of Transportation (DOT) physical (MI, IN, PA, and NY only).
Location(s) & Logistics
  • Ability to lift 75–100 pounds.
  • Perform physical tasks such as standing, climbing, crouching, bending, kneeling, and twisting.
  • Comfortable working and driving in various environments and weather conditions.
