Burwell Material Handling, LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician to service and repair forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment across the St. Albans and Charleston, WV territory.

You’ll travel to customer sites, diagnose issues, and perform preventive maintenance with ongoing training and growth opportunities. You will work independently with a strong team behind you, handling mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems while promoting service offerings and

Competenze

• Experience in forklift, heavy equipment, diesel, or automotive repair.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Familiarity with diagnostic software and tools.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. occasionally.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned service territory.

About The Role

As a Field Service Technician with Burwell, you’ll be on the road each day, clocking in from your company-provided service vehicle and heading to customer sites throughout the St. Albans and Charleston, WV territory. You’ll service and repair forklifts, pallet jacks, aerial lifts, and other equipment from top brands that keep warehouses running. You’ll work independently with a strong team behind you, receive ongoing training, and grow your career with a company that’s growing too. What You’ll Do

• Diagnose and repair forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, boom lifts, and other warehouse vehicles
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, LP/diesel engine, and electrical system issues
• Use diagnostic tools such as multimeters and hydraulic gauges to pinpoint and fix problems

Skills & Experience We’re Looking For

• Prior experience in forklift, heavy equipment, diesel, or automotive repair
• Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems
• Familiarity with diagnostic software and tools
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. occasionally and meet the physical demands of the job
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Willingness to travel within the assigned service territory
