A leading oil and gas solutions provider is seeking a Field Service Technician in Broussard, Louisiana. The role involves traveling to customer sites to install, commission, and train customers on Digital Completions Solutions (DCS) products. Candidates must have a High School Diploma, communication skills, and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues. The position includes a work schedule of 10 days on followed by 4 days off, with a requirement to be willing to work extended hours when necessary.

Must pass a national background check and a motor vehicle report.

Proven knowledge of upstream oil and gas completions operations.
Responsibilities
Travel to customer sites to install and test DCS products.
Perform field upgrades of software and hardware.
Document and communicate field failures and customer feedback.
Maintain accurate equipment inventory.
Work schedule is 10 days on, 4 days off for local technicians.
Travel to customer sites to install, commission, test, calibrate, and train customers on the safe and proper operation of Digital Completions Solutions (DCS) products.
Perform field upgrades of software and hardware.
Document and communicate field failures, customer feedback, and improvement ideas.
Ability to properly communicate and build strong relationships with on-site client representatives and client’s service provider crews.
Complete and submit field service documentation in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate equipment inventory on the truck and equipment at client locations.
Participate in hardware assembly, hardware installation, and R&D testing of DCS products.
Work schedule is 10 days on, 4 days off for local technicians.
Willing to work 12+ hours daily during your schedule.

Ability to lead and assist other techs and colleagues.
Ability to troubleshoot issues related to sensors, PLCs, and networking/cabling.
Preferred Qualification Requirements
Upstream completions background or Electronics Technician experience.
AA Degree and/or equivalent experience with 2+ years of technical experience preferred
