Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an entry-level Lift Truck Technician in Ardmore, OK, to troubleshoot and repair Crown and other lift trucks. You will perform planned maintenance, keep the service van stocked, and complete all necessary paperwork after each job.

A valid DL and good driving record are required, with strong mechanical and electrical aptitude essential. Candidates with a technical degree, welding experience, and familiarity with testing equipment are preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred.
• Less than 2 years related experience with lift trucks acceptable.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Ability to read electrical/hydraulic schematics and service manuals.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with customer care focus.
• Welding experience and testing equipment knowledge are a plus.

• Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks.
• Maintain a service van and its inventory.
• Process paperwork after completion of each job.

Requirements

• Less than 2 years related experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.
• Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and internal combustion engines.
• Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills.
• Technical degree, previous lift truck repair, welding experience, and knowledge of various types of testing equipment preferred.
• Familiar with tools and equipment such as common hand tools, electrical/air tools, torch, arc welder and various types of testing equipment.
• Industry related training is preferred.
• Ability to read and understand service manuals, plan, and follow-through.
