Job summary

Moseley Technical Services, Inc. in Pleasanton, CA is seeking a Field Service Technician – Sewer Flow Monitoring & Environmental Data Collection. You will install, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot sewer flow monitoring systems and rainfall monitoring equipment on site.

The role covers data collection, field testing, and troubleshooting in wastewater infrastructure projects. Travel to project locations and overtime may be required, with a focus on safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project locations.
• Ability to work safely around outdoor environments and wastewater/sewer systems.
• Physical and cognitive ability for confined space entry and rescue operations.
• Basic computer skills: Windows, Outlook, Excel, Word.
• Basic mechanical aptitude; electronics knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to install, maintain, and troubleshoot field monitoring equipment.
• Ability to document field activities and maintain records.
• Willingness to obtain safety certifications including Level 2 Safety Certification and ADS Core Flow Monitoring training.
• Ability to travel and work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain sewer flow monitoring equipment and rainfall monitoring systems.
• Calibrate flow monitors and verify proper operation.
• Collect, review, and validate sewer flow and rainfall data for accuracy.
• Operate, inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain monitoring equipment.
• Perform field inspections of sewer manholes and related tests.
• Maintain field documentation per quality procedures.
• Travel to customer sites and potentially work overtime as required.
• Adhere to safety policies in field environments and confined spaces.
