Job summary

Scientific Games is seeking a Field Service/Support Technician to perform client-site servicing, repair and installation of company products. You will provide technical support for system hardware, software, and associated equipment, diagnosing issues to minimize downtime.

The role involves working at customer sites, handling various devices, preparing reports on product failure trends, and complying with safety and regulatory requirements. High school diploma required; experience <1 year preferred.

Job Description

Field Service/Support Technician: Often considered a “bag-carrying” repair specialist. Performs client-site servicing, repair and/or installation of company product(s). This job may include any aspect of product field support, including system hardware and software, medical or laboratory devices and equipment, and systems networking. Provides technical support to customers on operational or maintenance aspects of system equipment. Serves as customer contact on technical and service related problems. Diagnoses mechanical, hardware, software and systems failures using established procedures. Determines most cost effective repair/resolution to minimize customer downtime. Prepares reports for analysis of product failure trends and service ability issues.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Job Level Description

Demonstrates ability to learn and support several aspects of function. Handles routine activities.
