Job summary

United Rentals is hiring a field technician to safely maintain and repair a variety of rental equipment across job sites. You will travel to customer sites, keep service records, and assist in training junior technicians while upholding safety standards.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and 3-5 years' equipment repair experience with strong mechanical aptitude and tool ownership. This role is safety sensitive and requires lifting up to 45 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• 3-5 years of experience repairing/maintaining equipment and tools.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
• Strong mechanical background knowledge of various engines.
• Must own tools applicable to position.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
