Job summary

Clean Harbors in Lexington, SC is seeking a Field Service Project Manager to oversee large-scale environmental projects at customer locations, coordinating with field crews and the Branch Manager.

The role requires 3+ years in environmental field service operations, strong remediation knowledge, and cost-estimating skills. Compensation includes $75,000 - $85,000 annually plus incentive bonuses, plus benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred for the role.
  • 3+ years of environmental field service operations experience.
  • Strong environmental remediation background and experience.
  • Emergency response supervisor or Marine Spill Response training is a plus.
  • Knowledge of federal and state environmental regulation and cost estimating.

Responsibilities

  • Manages and oversees small to midsize, technically complex projects at customer sites.
  • Prepare proposals, cost estimates, and work scopes.
  • Develop relationships with key customers and understand their issues.
  • Provide timely information to supervisors and team members.
  • Support proposal preparation, project cost estimates, and subcontractor selection.

Job description

Clean Harbors company in Lexington, SC i is looking for a Field Service Project Manager to join our team. The FSPM is responsible for managing large scale projects at a variety of customer locations. You will work directly with other team members, Supervisors, as well as the Branch Manager. You will be responsible for the performance of tasks associated with emergency response (emergency spill cleanup), hazardous waste clean-up, site-remediation (tank and pit cleaning), equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials.

Responsibilities
  • Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
  • Manages and oversees small to midsize, technically complex projects involving waste site clean-up and construction, building and equipment decontamination and demolition.
  • Prepare proposals, including cost estimates and work scopes and schedules.
  • Acts as an agent of business and is involved with developing relationships with key customers and understanding the customer issues.
  • Ability to provide timely, concise and relevant information to superiors and subordinates.
  • Provides technical support for proposal preparation, project cost estimates and subcontractor selection and procurement.
  • Enforce the policies and procedures as it relates to Health & Safety. Will be measured off the districts health and safety record. Works closely with the Director of Health and Safety and VP of Site Services in resolving issues in an appropriate and timely manner.
  • Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, associates or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of environmental field service operations experience or related.
  • Strong environmental remediation background and experience.
  • Emergency response supervisor training and/or Marine Spill Response training preferred.
  • Strong understanding of equipment operations.
  • Knowledge of federal and state environmental regulation.
  • Cost estimating and computer experience.
  • In depth knowledge of remedial technologies.
  • Previous experience working Emergency Response.
