Job summary

ASGCO® “Complete Conveyor Solutions” is seeking a Field Service Millwright to install, service and repair conveyor belts and components at industrial sites in Rockville, VA. The role requires travel to various sites including quarries and manufacturing plants and includes in-house training and a robust benefits package.

Responsibilities include field service visits, welding fabrication and repair tasks, mechanical diagnosis, and coordinating with customers and teams to ensure timely service.

Qualifications

• MSHA Surface and/or Underground Miner Qualification preferred.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to ASGCO.
• Regular and punctual attendance.
• Ability to travel, occasionally overnight.
• Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills.
• Must be able to work safely and effectively as part of a team or independently.
• Job duties performed underground and on surface; must obtain applicable certifications.
• Must be able to work overtime, weekends and holidays.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Can lift up to 100 lbs and work in demanding positions.
• Training programs provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform field service visits to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial equipment.
• Utilize welding skills for fabrication and repair tasks.
• Apply mechanical knowledge to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
• Conduct regular maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Communicate effectively with customers to provide quality service.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate service schedules and tasks.
• Operate a company vehicle.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
