Job summary

Vartan Aero in Mobile, AL is seeking interior mechanics with mechanical aptitude to join our team supporting Airbus and other major clients on site. This full-time role involves performing mechanical and cosmetic reworks, troubleshooting electrical systems, and installing decorative laminate, with opportunities to travel and OT.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree or equivalent, can work independently or with a team, and must pass background checks and a badge process.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
• Must be willing to work in an environment that is subject to changing climate conditions and moderate noise levels

• Carry out mechanical and cosmetic reworks of non-conformities, adjustments, replacements, and calibrations
• Install, file, sand, paint, etc. decorative laminate ("declam")
• Troubleshoot electrical systems
• Replace electrical connectors, terminal lugs, and wires
• Apply requested modifications
• Document reworks

Vartan Aero is an aircraft product support service provider looking to hire interior mechanics with mechanical aptitude at our Mobile AL location where we provide support to Airbus and all the big-name customers onsite.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum educational requirement: Associate degree or equivalent job training
• Technical/mechanical background such as A&P mechanic, automotive mechanic, cabinetmaking, or comparable experience
• Willingness to travel
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Work experience that demonstrates longevity and commitment.
