Job summary

MRIGlobalSearch is seeking a Field Service Engineer / Technician for a plastic injection molding equipment manufacturer, supporting the Midwest, Southeast, and Southwest regions.

Ideal candidates have 2-4+ years in field services for injection molding, hands-on with EOAT, robots, PLCs, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and are willing to travel ~50% across North America. You will be involved in on-site startups, maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades.

Qualifications

• 2-4+ years experience in field services for the injection molding industry.
• Experience on capital projects including machine installations, startups, troubleshooting, maintenance, PMs and upgrades.
• Working knowledge of injection molding processes, molds, and EOAT/robots/automation; PLCs, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide field service across North America; support machine startups and repairs.
• Assist with process improvements and upgrades on existing equipment.
• Travel approximately 50% to customer sites across the region.

Field Service Engineer / Technician

We are partnering with a plastic injection molding machine manufacturer to identify a Field Service Engineer / Technician to join their team in the Midwest or Southeast or Southwest.

To be considered for an interview, the following experience/skills are desired:

• 2-4+ years of experience providing technical/field services in the injection molding industry
• Experience working on capital projects performing machine installations, startups, developing & troubleshooting processes, maintenance, PMs & repairs, technology upgrades, etc.
• Working knowledge of injection molding machines, processes, and molds, with preference to knowing the different injection molding processes
• Hands-on experience with EOAT, Robots/Automation, PLC's, Electrical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic systems, etc.
• Willing to travel ~50% throughout Northern America

Pay Rate: $35/hour to $45/hour + OT + bonus
