Job summary
A leading automation solutions provider in Ohio is seeking a Service Engineer to work hands-on with industrial robotics and automation equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong electro-mechanical aptitude, excellent troubleshooting skills, and an Associate's Degree in Engineering. This role includes field service, installation, and customer training. Benefits include health insurance, a competitive compensation package, and a full-time schedule with 25% travel required.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical industrial components and controls.
Ability to follow electrical hard wiring and troubleshoot ladder relay logic prints.
Ability to edit and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Control programs.
Mechanical experience with power transmission, bearings, and hydraulics.
Must be able to lift heavy items and work at heights of 20 feet.
Responsibilities
Field service and installations for new and existing equipment.
Updating electrical prints and programs from field visits.
Filling out expense reports and having them signed by customers.
Testing and troubleshooting new equipment in-house.
Preparing technical write-ups for machine function and troubleshooting.
Skills
Electrical and mechanical industrial components knowledge
Electrical hard wiring troubleshooting
Programmable Logic Control troubleshooting
Mechanical assembly understanding
Power transmission experience
AutoCAD proficiency
Good communication skills
Heavy lifting capability
Education
