Job summary

Mahr Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer in the Northern Chicago, IL or Milwaukee, WI area. This role involves significant travel to support customers throughout the US and potentially Canada. Responsibilities include performing repairs and maintenance of metrology systems, training customer personnel, and submitting reports. The ideal candidate will have field service and metrology experience, a technical background, and vocational or military education. Qualifications

• Experience in testing, calibration, and assembly of precision instruments preferred.
• Experience in a high-tech environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, installations, and maintenance/calibration of Mahr systems.
• Train customer personnel in the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
• Submit weekly reports for billing, certification, and equipment history.
