Job summary

Eaton's Electrical Engineering Services and Systems team offers a Field Service Engineer Internship to provide hands-on experience with power distribution equipment. Interns work on meaningful projects, guided by experienced leaders, to develop technical and professional skills.

During the internship you will deliver technical solutions, perform assessments, and learn about test equipment operation, protective relays, power quality, and field service practices.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in an engineering bachelor’s or master’s program.
• Minimum GPA 2.8.
• Geographically flexible to relocate within the United States.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Work on assigned projects for electrical power distribution equipment.
• Deliver technical solutions to customers.
• Perform complex engineering assignments involving equipment or design, testing, or research.
• Gain knowledge in test equipment operation, troubleshooting, protective relays, power quality measurements.
• Generate timely and accurate service reports on work, product performance, and warranties.
