Job summary

Broetje Automation USA in Everett, WA seeks a Field Service Engineer to provide electrical and controls expertise for new equipment and systems. You will act as an SME for Siemens PLC/HMI, motion control, sensors, and electromechanical devices, with a focus on integration and commissioning.

Travel to customer sites is expected at 50–70%, and you will troubleshoot, install, and document service activities while collaborating with teams and vendors.

Qualifications

BS in Electrical/Controls/Mechatronics or equivalent with industrial robotics experience.
Strong understanding of electrical design, machine control, and system integration.
Experience troubleshooting electrical panels and PLCs; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

Provide electrical and controls engineering support for new equipment and systems.
Serve as SME for Siemens PLC/HMI, motion control, sensors, and electromechanical devices.
Travel to customer sites for commissioning and service; keep logs of duties.
