Yokogawa Electric Corporation in Sugar Land, TX seeks an automation engineer to execute control system tasks with minimal supervision and collaborate with project leads and regional managers. You will support installation, commissioning, field service, and troubleshooting of Yokogawa systems, and contribute to multi-site projects.
The role requires a B.S. in engineering or related field, plus hands-on PLC/DCS experience and networking know‑how.

Minimum 65% travel to customer and project sites
While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee is frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions, extreme heat, risk of electrical shock, and vibration. The noise level in the environment is reasonable.
The employee is occasionally required to lift to 50 pounds, able to coordinate with the packing and shipping of hardware components. The vision requirements include depth perception, ability to adjust focus, close vision, and color vision.
