Job summary

Hitachi Energy seeks a Field Service Engineer to perform complex field service operations, install, maintain, and repair power equipment on-site or remotely. You will troubleshoot issues, anticipate customer needs, and identify opportunities for improvements while traveling within the US, Canada, and Mexico.

The role requires strong mechanical/electrical skills, 5+ years of field service experience, and a current US driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitudes.
• Trade education and experience in Industrial Mechanic and Electrical trades.
• College or university diploma/degree in a technical field (electrical or mechanical engineering) is an asset.
• Over 5 years of experience in technical field service work with power/mechanical equipment.
• Hands-on experience with substation construction, high voltage equipment, and electrical testing.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and test equipment software.
• Current driver's license valid in the US and ability to work in the US.
• Ability to travel to the US, Canada, and Mexico.
• Collaborative, solutions-oriented approach with strong communication skills.
• Fluent in English.
• Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.

Pay Disclosure (Colorado Applicants Only):
The annual salary range for the Field Service Engineer (GCB) position is$107,700.00 to $134,600.00. This range reflects the company’s good faith estimate of what it expects to pay for this role in Colorado. The position may also be eligible for additional compensation and benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, bonuses, and paid time off.
