Job summary

Linde Material Handling in Buckley is seeking a Field Service Engineer to diagnose and repair forklifts and material handling equipment across customer sites. You will perform preventative maintenance, service visits, and build lasting customer relationships while delivering exceptional support.

The role requires hands-on mechanical skills, capability to work autonomously and within a team, and a valid UK driving license. UK-based training and long-term development are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience as vehicle technicians or mechanical engineers, especially forklift technicians.
• Valid full UK driving license.
• Comfortable working autonomously and within a team.
• NVQ Level 3 qualification preferred but not essential.
• Ability to use IT equipment for records and orders.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues to keep equipment running at peak efficiency.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and essential check-ups.
• Travel to various customer locations to service Linde forklifts and related equipment.
• Build strong customer relationships and provide exceptional technical support.
• Operate within a team while working autonomously as needed.
