A global technology leader is seeking a Field Service Engineer in the Atlanta area. You will be responsible for on-site service including installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of extrusion equipment. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechatronics or Electronics and at least 4 years of experience in a similar role. Qualifications
Minimum of 4 years' work experience, preferably as an installation or service engineer.
Strong technical insight with an affinity for mechanical techniques; experience with (PVC) extrusion is preferred.
Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time, often spending multiple weeks away from home.
Responsibilities
Perform on-site service activities, including installation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting for extrusion equipment.
Conduct inspections and performance testing to assess equipment condition and functionality.
Oversee installations and commissioning of new extrusion equipment.
