Job summary

True North Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician in the East Hanover, NJ area. The role requires knowledge of panel wiring, PLCs, HMI, motor drives, control systems and VFDs.

A strong ability to read schematics and troubleshoot electronics to the component level is valued. A valid driving record and US citizenship are required. The position offers a starting base salary in the 65K–85K range, with overtime potentially adding 10K–20K annually, plus a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Knowledge/experience with Panel Wiring, PLCs, HMI, Motor Drives, Control Systems, and Variable Frequency Drives.
• Experience troubleshooting electronics to component level is a plus.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with ability to communicate clearly in English. Local NJ/NYC area residents within commuting distance of East Hanover, NJ.
• Good driving record; field service position with company vehicle.

PLESE NOTE: Need to be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to communicate clearly in English. Only local NJ/NYC area people will be considered. Must reside within commuting distance of the East Hanover New Jersey area. This is a Field Service position with a company vehicle, so a good driving record is required.

To qualify for this position you need to have knowledge/experience with Panel Wiring, PLCs, HMI, Motor Drives, Control Systems, Variable Frequency Drives, and other related equipment. Experience troubleshooting electronics to the component level would be a plus. The company designs, installs, and services a variety of control systems and electronic drives. You will be a full-time member of their regional service team.

This company has been in business over 40 years, and has an excellent reputation in the industry. Company will test you on your ability to read schematics, troubleshoot to component level, and will do a background check & drug screen.

*** Starting Base salary in the $65K - $85K range (depending on experience), plus overtime (Overtime can add another $10K - $20K annually), and a company vehicle.
