MPI Energy is a global leader in battery technologies, headquartered in Grand Prairie, Texas. We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, start up, and commission lithium battery systems for data centers and energy storage, ensuring operational readiness and performance.
Your role includes on-site and remote support, diagnosing issues in the field, and coordinating with engineering and operations to deliver reliable energy storage solutions.
Keep critical power systems running for the data centers and infrastructure people depend on every day. As a Field Service Engineer at MPI Energy, you will install, commission, and troubleshoot lithium battery systems in the field, owning the outcome from start to finish.

If you maintained power systems, electronics, or critical equipment in the service, your training translates directly to this work. We value the discipline, troubleshooting instinct, and ownership you bring, and we will fill the gaps on our specific systems. Strong fit for former ETs, EMs, power generation, avionics, fire control, nuclear, and electronics maintenance specialists, as well as Seabees and combat engineers.

No commercial battery experience required. If you have the electrical fundamentals and the aptitude, we will train you on our systems. Relevant training, certifications, or technical aptitude will be considered in lieu of direct experience.
Salary range: $75,000 – $95,000, with experienced technical candidates landing in the upper half of the band.
Reports to: Jeremy Rose, Vice President, Service Operations & Solutions. Full‑time, onsite.
