Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a Mid Level Field Service Engineer to repair, troubleshoot, and calibrate laser systems at customer sites across domestic and international locations.

The role requires 3+ years in field service or related engineering roles in the medical device sector, with hands-on diagnostic/test experience and mobility to lift up to 50 pounds. Travel and effective cross-functional communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 3+ years of Field Service, Engineering, Manufacturing, or Technical Support experience supporting complex electrical/electronic equipment.
  • Minimum 3+ years of Medical Device industry experience, preferably involving laser and optical systems.
  • Hands-on experience utilizing electronic diagnostic and test equipment.
  • Experience troubleshooting electrical, electronic, laser, or optoelectronic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, schematics, and service procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance and field repair methodologies.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, including occasional weekends.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong understanding of customer-facing service environments within hospitals, surgery centers, or healthcare facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Travel regionally, domestically, and internationally as needed.
  • Follow safety procedures when working around lasers and mechanical equipment.
