Job summary

Herzig Engineering is seeking a Field Service Electrician (Traveling) to visit client sites nationwide and collect electrical distribution data. This role requires travel to industrial facilities, strong people skills, and a willingness to see the country at the company’s expense.

Master Electrician licensure is helpful but not required. Perks include comprehensive benefits, paid travel expenses (hotel, meals, car, flights), PTO, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience.
• Ability and willingness to travel 100%.
• Journeyman/Master Electrician preferred.
• Safety minded and customer-focused.
• Able to read and interpret electrical one-line drawings.
• Comfortable with energized equipment (switchgear, switchboard, panels).
• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Field Service Electrician (Traveling)

We are currently looking for experienced electricians with a background working in industrial and commercial facilities in the Indianapolis area. This position involves visiting our client sites around the country to collect electrical distribution information. We are searching for applicants with excellent people skills and an ambition to travel. A Master’s Electrician license is not required but will be regarded highly. Pay will commensurate with experience.
